Job Summary:

- The role is to lead the Enterprise Data Management engagements at Indegene. The role would include scaling the data management business by formulating and delivering enterprise data management, MDM and data governance solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders at all levels in the evolving Healthcare industry.

- The role will also promote the use of BI and cognitive technologies to share analytical insights to support decision making, effective data governance and enforcing policies / standards.

- The role would direct and oversee the design and development of systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, data stores, and other business intelligence systems. The role would be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the data systems to ensure they meet clients- needs.

The individual is expected to combine deep expertise and people management skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset to play a multi-faceted role in positioning the company for growth in this area.

JD:

- Design and develop cloud-based architecture to support end-to-end enterprise analytics lifecycle and approaches

- Develop Indegene business with enterprise data management and governance solutions and IP strategy

- Address key areas of solutioning like data architecture and strategy, data acquisition, transformation and integration, data quality, governance and compliance, self-service analytics and interactive business intelligence capabilities

- Build technology IP and POV around the above areas leveraging latest best-in-class technologies

- Strengthen the organization's partnership with existing and new clients, partners to work for different programs

- Work closely with the company leadership and business development teams for different client groups to propose data management, data governance solutions

- Identify market opportunity gaps where Indegene products and services can solve industry challenges. Articulate alternative opportunity pathways and business scenarios in these areas

- Bring deep expertise into client discussions in aspects like handling of digital and healthcare data, real world challenges of aggregating multiple sources, technical matters such as data integrity challenges etc. and concepts of data visualization and converting data to insights

- Perform analysis to understand business problems and business data to provide guidance on appropriate Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions.

- Act as Data/Information Architect and Database Administrator in support of the core internal business application development team.

- Managing relationships with stakeholders, addressing their understanding of data governance and requirements; Risk mitigation; Leading the design and development of analytical projects; Producing client insight reports;

Desired Profile:

- 7+ years of experience in the strategy and build of data and analytics solutions

- 3+ years of relevant experience in designing and development of modern data platforms with technologies such as Big Data and Cloud

- Experienced in performing business roles (e.g. Business Analysis, Project Management, Leadership) in development of:

- Data Management solutions with capabilities, such as Data Ingestion, Data Curation, Metadata and Catalog, Data Security, Data Modeling, Data Wrangling

- Data Warehousing / BI / Reporting solutions that generate business value using platforms and technologies such as Hadoop, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, MapReduce, Spark, etc.

- Data Science, AI / ML, Advanced Analytic solutions that meet business problems

- Capability-level understanding of modern data ingestion/curation/wrangling tools/technologies such as Informatica suite, Talend suite, Alteryx, DSS, BI tools such as Tableau / Qlikview

- Strong ability to translate concepts around data lifecycle management solutions including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, ODS, ELT and ETL, Stream/real-time/Batch processing, CDC, etc. to various audiences, both business and technical

- Ability to effectively interact and engage customer groups through multiple communication channels.

- Hadoop, Big Data experience, AWS or Azure cloud is a must

- Experience implementing data services using APIs and microservices is required

- Demonstrated experience with Data Lakes and complex data ecosystems

- Experience in leveraging Python, R a plus

- Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, data sources, reforms, regulatory scenarios a plus

- Strong written and verbal communication with presentation skills

- Strong strategic aptitude, structured thinking and articulation

- Competent in leveraging Microsoft Office tools, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
