InCred - Manager - Legal - LLB/LLM

- Review and draft contracts, agreements and dealing with legal aspects of retail loans (home loans) and SME loans (term as well as working capital)

- Advise Product Manager/Business Unit on any arising legal issues/risks based on RBI guidelines, Bank policies and relevant laws

- Structure and negotiate a variety of contracts related to banking products such as Escrow Agreements, agreements including but not limited to payments and collections, brand endorsements, NDA, service agreements and contracts

- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management

- Handling legal matters relating to foreclosure, enforcement and collections

Qualifications :

Required : LLB / LLM with 8+ years of work experience (including drafting, negotiating and advising on complex commercial contracts) from BFSI sector - NBFCs or private sector banks

- Strong understanding of retail and trade finance

- Well versed with compliance and legal issues for HFCs/NBFCs and RBI/NHB related issues

- Familiar with operational processes pertaining to disbursement of retail loans and trade finance

- Ability to coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders (i.e. business, operation, credit team, etc.) and external counter-parties (i.e. law firms, borrowers, etc.)

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Comprehensive understanding of contractual terms, policies and procedures, legal risk and liability on legal matters
