Impact Analytics - Data Science Lead (3-5 yrs)

The impact that you will be making:

Data Science Lead will lead a team of Data Scientists / Senior Data Scientists and help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. The primary focus will be in leading the application of data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

What this role entail:

- Understanding business objectives and formulate the problem as a Data Science problem (Expert level proficiency in Forecasting)

- Develop and maintain robust data processing pipelines and reproducible modelling pipelines

- Explore data and communicate insights clearly

- Manage a team of data scientists and senior data scientists

- Analyze experimental results, iterate and refine models to create significant business impact

- Build analytic systems and predictive models

- Test performance of data-driven products

- Experiment with new models and techniques

What lands you in this role:

- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Data Analytics Model development and deployment

- Strong forecasting experience

- Must have exposure to developing predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms for business applications

- Good knowledge of data management and visualization techniques

- Hands-on experience of working across SQL, R, Python, Hadoop

- Experience of managing teams of at least 2-3 members

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Understanding and exposure to business applications and integration of analytics with businesses.

- B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field
