Director of Demand Generation

Location: India

Reporting To: VP of Marketing

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Director of Demand Generation you will define the strategies and tactics for creating brand awareness and generating leads that contribute to the marketing funnel. As a member of the team you'll own global demand generation, as well as regional general marketing activities for the APAC market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create the go-to-market strategy for overall demand generation for iMerit's technology and services. Assess, identify, and execute growth opportunities for leads, channel optimization and expansion.

- Manage the existing Marketing team in India that currently covers social media, content generation, events and creative services; as well as expand the team to create expertise in specific functions around SEO, SEM, ABM and email nurture programs.

- Manage the current marketing technology stack and explore new platforms for greater scale and reach to target audiences.

- Make continuous optimizations to the website to increase engagement and conversion, improving both "freemium" SaaS customer journeys and full service engagements for larger prospects.

- Develop new landing pages and perform A/B testing for overall optimization of the customer journey, while also driving traffic through email marketing, SEO, SEM, social and other channels.

- Align key strategies and initiatives for GTM efforts, track demand generation KPI's and communicate results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Track funnel metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of demand generation and expansion programs.

- Manage and allocate marketing and resourcing budgets based on quarterly/annual targets; build detailed plans by-channel, by-segment forecasts, and resourcing models to support clear, attainable targets.

- Act as a key connection/resource/liaison between the global business teams and the operational teams within India.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of experience from a technology company scaling to a global enterprise.

- Experience in positioning B2B technology products and services for a growth market, where the primary audience are technical users.

- Good level of comfort, understanding and track record of growth marketing strategies, SEO, SEM, ABM and other tactics.

- Ability to navigate technical topics and naturally fascinated with the artificial intelligence industry, both its rapid evolution and the industries it's disrupting.

- Previous experience with big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence and/or deep learning is highly valued but not required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong knowledge in Salesforce, Hubspot and other sales enablement technologies for the purpose of tracking prospects through the customer journey.

- Prior success in working with and communicating at all levels of the organization.

- Analytical, with the ability to develop, track and analyze KPIs for the success of the business.

- Flexible to work occasional odd hours due to the global nature of the teams and communications needed.

- Location depends on experience and living situation. Remote is a possibility, but a hybrid work situation is preferred to ensure team continuity and overall leadership.

- Flexible to travel, this mostly depends on your proximity to the office. Facetime is important to internal relationships. Aside from office visits, there's only a handful of industry events people travel to and this is usually shared among the team.
