iLabs Capital - Manager - Information Technology (5-6 yrs)

iLabs group (ilabsgroup.com) is looking for a committed, dependable, and self-driven IT Manager to plan, monitor, and manage its IT Infrastructure.

The IT Manager must have at least six years of extensive hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting various technical issues in software applications, hardware, networks, firewalls, security, databases, and connectivity issues with surveillance cameras, smart meters and mobile devices.

IT Manager ensures the timely closure of service tickets raised by iLabs group users and implements iLabs IT policies and procedures without any non-conformances. IT Manager also coordinates with third-party technology vendors to get the required technical support.

IT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

PLANNING, MONITORING AND CONTROLLING OF IT INFRASTRUCTURE

- Collate business requirements regularly and plan for IT infrastructure capacity, determine the maintenance and growth needs of the IT Infrastructure

- Develop IT Infrastructure troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs

- Implement infrastructure management tools, monitor performance of information technology systems like servers, fire walls, networks, bandwidth speed, software applications, storage, database performance, patch updates, determine cost and productivity levels, and make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure

- Create and administer business continuity and disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis

- Determine the methods for upgrading company infrastructure each time an update is released

- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure

- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

APPLICATIONS AND INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE & TROUBLE SHOOTING

- Manage software applications in collaboration with product vendors and service providers (e.g., Tally ERP & Taxman, Google Suite, Anti-Virus Patches, ERP etc.)

- Setup development, testing, production environments for Internal software applications

- Deploy, release, and regularly maintain internally developed software applications

- Configure and upgrade IT Infrastructure (computer systems, network servers, software, virtualization, databases etc.) for reliable operations

- Manage Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 incidents (service tickets) and resolve them promptly as per the SLAs with limited disruptions

a. Software applications

b. EPABX systems (PRI lines)

c. Workstations/ Laptops

d. Wireless and Wired LAN networks (Firewalls, Switches, Access points & Routers)

e. File Servers

f. Databases, servers

g. Security, access control systems & biometric systems

h. Surveillance camera systems, energy meter systems, and related equipment

THIRD PARTY TECHNICAL SUPPORT

- Assess third party vendor products and develop test strategies for new hardware and software

- Procure Hardware & Software as per the business requirements upon management approvals

Coordinate with Software, Hardware Vendors to get technical support and collate the internal user's usage statics for billing payments:

- Internet lease lines & broadband Services

- Website domains & web hosting accounts

- Cloud Infrastructure (e.g: AWS, Azure, GPC)

- Mobile Phones Connections (e.g., Airtel & Jio - Data cards, Mobiles)

- Audio conference accounts (e.g., Chorus and Reliance) and their billing

- Video conference accounts (Polycom, zoom, Microsoft Teams)

- Mobile devices (e.g., Apple products (iPhone, iPad & Mac devices))

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

- 5-6 years of applications maintenance, database, network administration, or system administration experience

- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus

- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage systems, and phone systems

- Experience in managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

- Experience with scripting and automation tools

- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
