Role Description:

- Partner with senior business leaders, talent Acquisition team, and other internal stakeholders to develop a LnD Strategy focused on the long-term organizational and talent capabilities needed to drive the business strategy.

- Explores and implements programs that impact learning at various stages of the employee life cycle - introduction of new concepts, on-the-job learning and post class room and performance management support to employees.

- Ensure all new executives are on boarded quickly to minimize time to productivity.

- Advises senior leadership regarding initiatives that will close performance gaps, promote maximum staff effectiveness.

- Positions IKS as a learning organizations that use and establish industry best practice.

- Forges relationships with key learning partners, including, but not limited to: colleges, governmental sources, and learning solutions providers

- Establish and maintain a Learning evaluation system in cooperation with internal and external providers/vendors to evaluate the effectiveness of program outcomes and to implement enhancements as needed.

- Ongoing familiarity with best practices, innovations and networks with key external CLO leaders to stay on the cutting edge of the Learning and Development, Talent Management, Career Development and Performance Management disciplines.

- Advises senior leadership regarding initiatives in leadership development and succession planning to ensure strong pipeline of talent is always available

- Fosters an environment of learning and continuous improvement through LnD initiatives.

Desired Background:

- 5 + years as a senior-level talent management and learning leader with experience working in global organizations, recognized for developing talent & contributing best practices in the talent space.

- 15 + years of proven successful experience demonstrating positive results in executive level strategic planning, program development or organizational development is required.

- A Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organization Psychology, Behavioral Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field is required.

- Knowledge of instructional design, curriculum and content development, multimodal methods of training delivery, learning platforms, evaluation, succession planning and performance support combined with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, innovator and creative thinker.

- Experience working directly with CXO and Business Presidents on major talent initiatives

- Experience designing and implementing innovative enterprise-level talent management and learning programs

- Excellent analytical, quantitative, project management, communication, problem solving and consultation skills required.

- Strong business and financial acumen with a sense of urgency and a desire to achieve top line results.

- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across geography and culture

- Ability to measure and articulate key talent outcomes that impact the business

- Experience building high performance teams and leading through others to implement major solutions, requiring ownership, buy-in, and support

- Leadership experience in consensus building, developing teams, visionary thinking and organizational alignment and lean process improvement is required.

- Demonstrated technological savvy to leverage the educational programs with the benefits of technology.

- Strong leadership presence with exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills

- Candidate who have lead LnD supporting clinical teams will be appreciated but not an essential requirement.

Desired skills to the role:

- Strong Business and Financial acumen.

- Passionate about bringing about a change through Learning and Development.

- High standard of analytical and quantitative skills with a deep interest in solving problems.

- A performance improvement and achievement orientation: an individual who focuses on impact, not activity.

- A strong sense of urgency, along with a methodical, structured way of solving problems (on time and under budget)

- Strong people management skills - s/he will be required to work across silos and organizational boundaries to deliver results.

- High level of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
