Responsibilities- - Understanding and analyzing user needs - Maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and trends - Validating and pitching new product ideas - Defining features through detailed specifications, user stories and wireframes - Working with design and engineering teams through feature implementations - Responsible for innovative feature conceptualisation, designing wireframes, documenting PRDs to enhance site usability & profitability. - Maintaining timelines and keeping all stakeholders updated - Defining success metrics and analyzing product performance - Develop, Manage and Own the product roadmap. Present the same to senior stake holders with appropriate business cases for management/board approvals. - Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners. - Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding. Conduct detailed market research which includes : a) Competition analysis (features, pricing, their positioning, gaps in product) b) Study new market opportunities for the product c) Understand the dynamics and shift in the existing markets d) Study the operations of international offices worldwide e) Conduct surveys, pilot committees with existing clients. - Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth by adoption. - Continuously review existing client feedback that can feed into the product roadmap. - Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes - Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact - Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources - Drive product launches including working with executives, and other product management team members - Develop product pricing and positioning strategies - Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other teams Skills & Qualifications : - At least 2+ years of consumer internet Product Management experience - Strong understanding of the consumer internet ecosystem - Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment - Strong ability to do data driven product management (and even general) decision making - Ideal candidates would have hands on experience in data mining, clickstream analysis, and would have a good knowledge of statistical techniques. - Demonstrated ability to interface with management (Founders) and business leaders across the startup, drive vision, strategy, and influence decisions. - Ideal candidates would be an all stack leader that can juggle driving prioritization conversations and business strategy meetings with founders, and cross functional business stakeholders, and at the same time, do a design review with designers, or dive deep into technical discussions with engineering teams about how their current tech choices and approach could impact future business requirements.
