Job description :

- Handles financial reporting process and ensure quality, accuracy and timely submissions of quarterly, annual and other periodical reporting.

- Manage consolidation of subsidiaries and consolidated financial statements, periodic reporting on financial statements

- Manage and maintain internal control architecture over transactions and financial statements of the IIFL Wealth Group

- Manage periodical statutory and internal audits and relationship with auditors

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Work with Finance team to ensure efficacy and efficiency of Finance ERP and overseeing development and maintenance of IT architecture relating to Financial system and interfaces

- Manage Periodic book closure (month end/ quarter end/ year-end)

- Responsible for staying current on existing and new financial disclosure releases issued by the ICAI and other regulatory bodies.

- Assist in assessing the effects of accounting standards on the company's business activities and properly disseminating this information to senior management and Provide inputs to internal stakeholders on important accounting, reporting disclosures

Qualification and requirements :

- Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience

- Strong audit/ audit management background, preferably with Big Four

- Deep understanding of Accounting Standards and IND AS, disclosure requirements and practices in relation to preparation and presentation of financial statements

- Understanding of requirements internal controls over data flow and financial statements and related certification requirements and confirmations to Boards/external agencies

- Familiarity with regulatory framework for Financial Reporting applicable to listed entities

- Working knowledge of Finance ERPs (Oracle/SAP)

- Proficiency in MS work tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)
