IIFL - Green Building Program Manager - Environmental & Social Governance Team

IIFL is looking for an action-oriented team member to be a part of the Environmental and Social Governance Team.

The Green Building Program Manager will add value by demonstrating leadership, versatile communication skills, organizational and technical skills, green building certification understanding, creativity and time management. An effective program manager will consult clients and customers, with optimum building performance solutions, options, strategies and technologies to meet sustainable living objectives.

A sincere interest in the advancement of sustainable living is imperative to the IIFL ESG team.

Key Responsibility :

- Research optimum building performance strategies and technologies for both internal and client's needs.

- Serve as a resource to Green Building Certification (IGBC, GRIHA, EDGE and LEED) project team members with regard to sustainable living goals as agreed by the developer.

- Develop a working relationship with developers and project team members via effective professional communication, both written and verbal.

- To build educational material and knowledge series for developers

- Prepare technical reports, tools and calculators.

- Provide technical, organizational, and scheduling support to senior management.

Subject Matter Experience :

- Basic understanding of sustainable development in terms of the built environment.

- Ability to interpret and correctly apply a variety of Green Building reference standards such as NBC 2016, ECBC 2017, Eco-Samhita 2018, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 55, SP 41, etc.

General Consulting Skills :

- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex ideas and processes through strong language and writing skills

- Analytical skills for reviewing design and construction documents, technical data, regulations, standards and reports

- General understanding of the principles that guide environmental design

- Looking for Architects who are passionate about sustainable living and have prior experience or involvement with the Green Building Certification project.
