IFMR - Senior Associate - Structuring (1-3 yrs)

IFMR Capital is looking for a Senior Associate with 1-3 years of experience who will be a part of the structured finance products and deal execution desk.

The Senior Associate - Structuring will be primarily responsible for front-ending deal execution and working on various structures and products. This would encompass -

1) Financial modelling for structured debt products

2) Executing plain vanilla and structured finance transactions;

3) Preparing legal documentation and offer documents for capital market issuances

4) Preparing investment proposals

5) Assisting in new product development

6) Extensively using MS Excel and other financial modelling tools to support the Structuring team in analysis.

7) Handling post transaction requirements - product compliance and to maintain the comprehensive compliance database

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualification:

MBA or Post Graduate in Management from a premier institute/Masters in econometrics

Minimum Experience:

1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial modelling & analytics or corporate finance (in investment banks, banks, NBFCs, investment funds or rating agencies).

Skills: A candidate who will best fit this position will be somebody who has -

a) Have exposure to structured finance products and Indian regulations on Securitisation

b) A sound understanding of financial services

c) Excellent knowledge of excel and good modelling skills

d) Ability to understand legal documents

e) Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

f) The ability to stretch, multitask and deliver under pressure

g) Problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail

h) Strong work ethic

i) The ability to be a highly organized self-starter

j) The drive to constantly innovate, improvise and add value
