Job Objective:
Assisting the Director - Treasury with:
- Debt raising and equity raising
- ALM
- Treasury processes
Key Accountabilities:
Description:
Raising Debt:
- Creating financing proposals for lenders and investors
- Interacting with potential and current lenders and investors for debt financing - including bank treasuries, Mutual Fund, Pension Funds, NBFCs etc
- Negotiate financing structures, covenants, commercials etc.
Raising equity:
- Prepare, gain agreement and compile a pitchbook for debt/equity
- Prepare comparables analysis and recommend options.
- Prepare and gain approval and present business plans, models & valuations
Asset Liability Management:
- ALM and RBI reporting
- Developing and maintaining frameworks for measuring and limiting interest rate risk and liquidity risk
Relationship Management:
- Develop a pipeline for lenders / investors in IFMR Capital debt
- Maintain relationships through various methods: lenders- meet, periodic visits, senior calling plan etc.
- Leverage relationships for investor sales
Business Plan and other internal requirements:
- Developing and maintaining the business plan
- Analysis of monthly financials and progress vis-a-vis the business plan
- Creating and updating marketing literature : information memorandum and corporate presentation
- Preparing materials and presentations for the Board, the promoter group and equity investors
Process:
- Develop, refine and monitor treasury processes for fund raising, selldowns, RBI reporting, ALM etc.
- Organise data and prepare monthly reports for ALCO
- Compile and disseminate market data for the relevant team in pricing, spreads, yields, currencies etc.
- Periodic update on internal base rate
Performance Indicators:
- Process mapping and adherence
- Participation and contribution to fund raising
- Maintaining and improving upon the business plan, ALM model etc.
- Understanding of business and asset classes / products, achieved through frequent field visits and product training / participation in live deals. Contribution in developing funding relationships for investor sales work
- Interaction and relationship with the other teams in the firm.

Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience in financial services is a plus

- Understanding of financial instruments and balance sheet analysis
- High excel modelling skills
- Communication and writing skills
