Organizational Overview:

IFMR Capital's mission is to provide efficient and reliable access to debt capital markets for institutions that impact low income households. These include rural & urban micro finance institutions, retail NBFCs, and housing finance companies. IFMR Capital connects these institutions with capital markets and investors such as banks, insurance companies, and mutual funds through financial tools such as securitization, credit enhancement and debt structuring.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

- Primary responsibility will be business development in the Microfinance sector, as part of a team that manages a portfolio of debt and structured finance investments in Microfinance Institutions across India

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description:

- Manage existing client relationships on an on-going basis - which entails managing the debt funding requirements of clients through the bouquet of products that the Company offers; thereby generating business volumes for the company

- Identifying potential new clients and conducting due diligence to underwrite credit risk

- Tracking Financial and Operational Performance of clients on an on-going basis so as to be able to represent the client to internal and external parties

- Aiding in the structuring and placement of structured finance products

- Negotiating and executing structured finance transactions

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

- Business numbers achievement in line with business plan - which will be tracked in terms of volumes and income

- Track Product wise performance of the company

- Updating client performance trackers and aiding in credit analysis on a quarterly basis

- Updating sector analysis on an on-going basis

- Build understanding and expertise in structured finance products so as to be able to advise clients on suitability and find fitment in client's funding needs

- Assist in negotiations and executions on live transactions to ensure good client experience

SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

Minimum Qualifications: MBA (From a top 20 College) or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, equity research, credit research or corporate finance (Banks, NBFCs, Investment funds or rating agencies)

- Strong financial Analysis Skills a must

- Must be personable and presentable. Eloquence will be a bonus

- Willingness to travel to remote rural locations to understand business and operating models of clients

- Interest in financial inclusion

- Experience of and ability to stretch oneself, work under pressure, handle multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver on deadlines

Salary Range: 8-10 LPA
