A fast growing and innovative technology company that is leveraging technologies like analytics, AI and machine learning . This role is expected to lead the research, strategy and solutions strategy for new ventures for the company in the retail technology domain.
- To analyze, with the purpose of identifying market gap and opportunities, the prevailing retail technology eco-system in its entirety to identify its major players - these would include but not limited to, consumers, vendors, existing solutions, competitive landscape, new products, investor activity and confidence & general trends in the domestic and global retail technology markets.
- Conducting primary and secondary research to create market maps, competitive landscape, assess market size and opportunities. Identify market drivers and needs to get a deep understanding of market gaps and identify new solution opportunities
- To work with the Co founders across technology, product & marketing to develop business plans and launch best in class, innovative solutions for the industry.
Expected skill sets -
An ideal candidate would come from a background with a top tier consulting firm or corporate strategy in the retail technology / consulting / corporate finance .
- Relevant industry experience: Between 5-15 years
- Must have worked in a startup environment and contributed strategically to the overall growth of the company
- Experience in developing business plans, new opportunity assessments, market research
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to articulate and present ideas to senior leadership
- Strong written and verbal skills
- MBA from IIM, XLRI, FMC
- Undergraduate degree in engineering preferred
