iBluebottle.com is a path-breaking online matchmaking website for Indian professionals. Launched around 1.5 years ago we are the top destination for Indian professionals looking to find a life-partner in a safe and private environment. With a membership restricted to people who qualify for our membership, 100% validated profiles, a personality matching engine and high regard for privacy, we are completely different to the existing matrimonial services. We have been featured in the national media multiple times including publications such as Outlook, The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Hindu etc.
Significant growth in member base and a successful round of fund raising means that we are now looking for an entrepreneurial marketing head to take iBluebottle to the next level.
Working closely with the founders he/she would set and execute the marketing/sales strategy of the company. More specifically, the aim would be to popularize the iBluebottle brand amongst the 25-40 year old professionals in all the big Indian cities.
An example strategy could be the use of online marketing via interesting videos as we did recently with our "dumb ways to marry" campaign (over 150k views - look it up on youtube!). http://youtu.be/c6luYXhpXuI
Yet another example strategy could be to target the large office clusters & all the qualifying business schools via innovative campaigns.
This is not a typical corporate job - you will be the master of your own time and would need to show ownership.
Simply speaking, we are looking for someone who could be another co-founder. You will be a male/female aged between 24-35 years with a degree from a reputed university (MBA preferred).
Prior experience in online businesses would be a bonus, but not necessary. However, you must have a demonstrable grasp of online business models and be familiar with the modern Indian ethos.
Apart from a fixed salary, you would have a variable component directly related to the revenue and a negotiable equity stake.
