Job Description of Plant Controller : Navi Mumbai

Educational Qualification : CA

Industry : Automobile / Auto Ancillary / Manufacturing

Responsibility :

- All financial data and results analysis of Navi Mumbai Plant with specific KPI s and ensure that all key deliverables are met as per forecast.

- Also to ensure that the key audit requirements for Stat/group audit are complied with, data for cost audit are provided with and ensure internal audit all data completion and submission in time for the periodic quarterly compliances.

- Ensure the control points are all covered

Specific job responsibility : Finance related

- NM Plant Accounts review for e.g. Ledger Scrutiny, Interim Variance Accounts, Suppliers Balance control account reconciliation, control on advances to suppliers etc.

- Tooling and consumables report.

- Variable costs analysis for NM Plant with forecast and assess root cause analysis for variances & take rectificatory actions

- Look into the incidences of fixed costs and find out the variance with forecasts with DGM Finance

- Ensure verification of all payments in Deutsche bank

- Work with SCM and finance AP team to ensure that all three way match are done on time

- Ensure all gate entries done are covered under inventories

- Reconcile and reduce the intermediary accounts in the trial balance

- Balance sheet account reconciliation and reduce pending items ( other current assets and liabilities)

- Work with DGM Finance for drawing out the budget and forecasts for Navi Mumbai in accordance with Hyva policy

- Ensuring all provisions taken for invoices submitted but not processed and goods/services received but not yet accounted for

- To review monthly P/L leverage analysis and compare with budget and last month benchmark

- To assist in making monthly Financial MIS for Navi Mumbai

- To review perpetual inventory counting and assess the reasons for excess and shortage and approve

- To review the scrap generation and suggest improvement in the process

- To review the TOC benchmarks for Navi Mumbai and assess the reasons for adequacy of free cash score generation weekly.

- To work with stakeholders in weekly TOC meetings to validate the revenue, throughput, receivables, overdue, OE, payables and working capital.

- Check IFRS lease rent calculation and plotting in the format correctly

- Check CAPEX plan vs actual utilization and highlight delays in capex

- Development of Finance Automation process- AP, AR, GL by working with local IT

Specific job responsibility :

Audit & Control :

- Responsible for Stat Audit points closure by supporting DGM Finance-

- Working with Stat Auditor for providing all the relevant information by working with respective Plant Finance

- Ensuring the quarterly status of internal Audits are completed progressively pertaining to previous year's audit observation

- Support Internal Audit and EY by providing all the relevant support data those will be needed pertaining to Navi Mumbai and for other plants by coordinating with respective Plant Financial Controller.

- Completing all data/information for effective Audit close out
