Job brief We are looking for a Public Relations (PR) Director in India to design and implement marketing strategies that cultivate our relationships with media, engage our target audience and boost our brand awareness. You will use your creative ideas to drive PR initiatives that'll bring long-term success. Also, you'll coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, HR, Tech) to maximize brand consistency in all advertising efforts. Ultimately, you will promote and maintain a positive image of our company, while ensuring strong online and offline brand presence. Responsibilities - - Work with the leadership team to set goals - Maximize brand presence on various channels - Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals - Arrange interviews and press releases to promote our company and its products/services - Ensure brand consistency in all advertising efforts - Organize PR events to increase awareness of our company - Track and influence media coverage - Report on PR campaigns results - Create and maintain PR calendar - Manage sensitive issues to maintain company's good reputation - Document and measure the outcome of various PR campaigns and media drive Requirements - At least 10-12 years of relevant experience in similar roles in other Indian or global technology companies including stints at media companies or and PR agencies - Solid experience coordinating successful PR campaigns - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to network with people quickly - Proven knowledge in effectively using new age media platforms in addition to traditional ones - Strong project management skills with exposure to digital communications tools and platforms - Ability to independently craft, devise and execute communication plans
