HyperCITY - Area Manager - Operations (10-15 yrs)
Purpose (The reason why the job exists) The essential purpose of this job is to ensure the stores run profitably and that they comply with the policies and working standards of the company.
Job Description Business:
1. Achieving sales targets for all categories
Sales achieved vs targets set
Initiatives to achieve higher conversions and ticket sizes
2. Efficient stock management
a. Ensuring minimal stock out situations
b. Minimizing returns and write off- s
c. Ensuring that pilferage is within prescribed limits
3. Analyze sales, stock, walk-in and other data to provide qualitative inputs to enhance business
4. Liaison with category managers and merchandisers for stock management, inputs on promotions, pricing strategy etc
Customer:
1. Ensure that customer service standards are adhered to
2. Ensure cashiering efficiency and thus reducing customer wait time at the cash counter
Process
1. Ensure that the VM of the store is as per prescribed guidelines
2. Ensure that Plan-o-grams are strictly followed
3. Analyzing PICS reports to identify causes variances
4. Ensure SOP adherence in operations
People
1. Ensuring availability of adequate manpower at all points of time on the floor
2. Controlling attrition rates
3. Coach and train the team on product knowledge, customer service etc
Competencies / Skills Required Soft Skills Required: Planning skills, Analytical skills, Systems Orientation, Team Management
