Role Summary:

- Develop and implement local/regional sourcing strategies for related spend category, following the 5-step sourcing process, in full alignment with the business' current and future needs.

- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with suppliers.

- Identify opportunities (e.g., value engineering, innovation) and engage with the business to implement

- Record in SIP pipeline of activities, negotiate and manage sourcing contracts to deliver competitive (cost) advantage to the Business

- Track benefits, communicate results, ensure effective visibility of category achievements (master data accuracy) to stakeholders

- Ensure sourcing data inclusion within all relevant tools, including accuracy of master data (spend, classification, projection, timeline)

Profile Requirements & Skills:

- 5+ years Sourcing experience in an organization with global presence

- Should have contributed to improving bottom line of the business.

- Should have demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk/change management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management.

- Must have successfully managed contract negotiations

Roles and Responsibilities

- Category Management: (e.g., 5 Step Sourcing Process), knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, category specific best practices

- Identify & evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts & implement improvement projects

- Financial acumen: Key business drivers, budgeting, and forecasting

- Derive negotiation strategy from category positioning and negotiate to achieve defined objectives

- Knowledge of international trade (Incoterms, Letter of credit)

- Ability to identify and improve process

- Good communication skills with excellence in Business English

- Negotiation & influencing skills

- Analytical skills: ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

- Cross-cultural management skills

- Project management: ability to plan and manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.

- Agreed Cost in/out targets

- % Of spend under contract
