Role: Product Management

Job & Responsibilities :

The candidates' primary role is to guide a team of product managers and do product management of HSC's products and solutions. HSC's products and solutions are in 3 categories - existing products, prototypes/IPRs made by engineering for skill building and new products(greenfield).

- Identify market opportunity and gaps

- Create HSC's IPR's product definition

- Define features and functionality required to fill the market gaps

- Understand competing products/IPR- s/Solutions available

- Create partnerships, if required to complete the solution, to take to the market

- Carry out potential/pricing/profitability analysis

- Create go to market plan for the approved products/IPRs, consisting of pricing, packaging, channels/promotion etc

- Work with engineering/COE to prioritize features and functionality required in the products/IPRs

- Work with regional teams to take them to market

Education:

- Should have an Engineering degree (ECE/CS) and an MBA

Experience:

- 9-12 years

- Should have done product management as a leader or worked as part of a product management team

- Worked in technology companies, either service or product companies

- Should have exposure to international markets i.e should have positioned products/solutions in international markets

- Should have experience working in one or more of the following markets: Telecom, E-commerce, Automation(home, building, enterprise), Retail, Automotive(new age)

Travel :

- Will need to travel within India and internationally to meet with potential customers and trade shows/conferences

- Around 25% travel time
