Studies and Research/ TAPMI/ JBIMS   Job Purpose :  - Provide thought leadership on short & long term sales strategy of the organization to create sustained market leadership through excellence in distribution & retail.  Key Characteristics of the Incumbent:  - MBA from Tier 1 institute with 10-12 years of experience  - Competent in developing vision into strategic roadmap and should have the ability to view the business holistically  - Strong business acumen with strong process orientation and excellent strategic thinking skills as well as execution skills  - Entrepreneurial in spirit and can challenge status quo v. Lead Business  Strategy :   - As a part of Senior Management, provide strategic direction to the organization on its short & long term plans  - Translate business vision and strategy into operational initiatives & tactics  - Design & Execute strategy to create sustained market leadership & profitability in line with Annualized Operating Plan (AOP)  - Maintain market vigilance with respect to competition strategy and influence changes in strategy, if required  - Envisage & Deploy strategies for new product launches  Business Operations -   - Budget, Deliver & Manage key P&L metrics (Gross Revenue, Sales & Distribution Expenses/Budgets etc.) for the Hub  - Build the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve business objectives  - Periodic review of performance outliers through root cause analysis and action planning  - Enable & Implement efficient supply chain strategy to create sustainable partner ROI models  - Implementation & Adherence of processes and policies to drive excellence in distribution and retail  B. Lead People  Role Model :   - Engage & Empower team members by aligning them to the overall organization strategy and action plan  - Provide effectual leadership to a team of 300+ Field Sales & 2000+ Customer Consultants  - Inspire people through company values driven conduct & build positive morale  Capability Development :   - Enhance capability of team through coaching and mentoring  - Enable people to adapt to changes arising out of new strategies  - Ensure the team is trained on latest processes & policies, product, Company IT systems & soft skills
