Job description

A brief of the profile :

The Creative Lead will be responsible for the entire gamut of the Creative Design team. The Creative Lead, as a leader of the design team, will ensure that the team delivers to the highest quality designs meeting international standards in content for the education space.

The Creative Lead will manage multiple design concepts which are rich and easy to understand. You will report to the MD and ensure collaborative work between the content and creative teams.

This role stands at the intersection of business understanding, strong creativity and innovative technology. The Creative Lead will get involved in ideation and design aspects for the creation of rich, interactive and impactful content, both for online applications and in smartphones and tablets. The ideal candidate must be able to create compelling mockups and clean layouts, while keeping the user experience at the forefront.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the development and execution of creative concepts and style guides

- Have strong technical skills and know-how to ensure the team is able to maintain productivity and output. Experience with print, film and digital formats is a must.

- Strong understanding of the mobile app design space is a plus.

- Provide narrative support for story telling in content

- Ensure the usability, consistency, relevance, and functionality of the finished product

- Establishing, maintaining and enabling our creative environment ensuring Studio teams and the agencys practitioners have all the necessary materials, consumable tools and equipment needed

- Execute swift concept design and execution without compromising on detail

- Create mock-ups and frameworks and translate them into final design

- Deliver a range of concepts and designs for each project

- Own the user experience while balancing creativity with effectiveness

- Present concepts and design for both internal and external reviews

- Understand how development impacts design

- Work on multiple projects and deliver creative in a timely manner

- Have ownership of all marketing collateral to be created for the company including digital content, videos, print, collateral etc

- Managing the team - making sure the studio team is engaged, motivated and inspired

- 10+ years of experience in an advertising/digital environment

Strong creative vision

- Smartphone and tablet enthusiast. You must love the power of technology to tell a story effectively

- Proven experience in managing and developing a cross functional team of professionals who are able to produce content and visuals and publishing to a range of media to meet performance expectations

- Highly skilled in directing advertising/creative/media processes

- Be able to work with technology and content teams and understand the steps to delivering the product on an app

- Exceptional time management and organisational skills to successfully manage a number of concurrent work teams and projects with competing delivery timeframes

- Ability to implement integrated production processes to ensure high-quality, brand-consistent output in line with a greater strategic vision

- Recent and successful experience as final editor in chief proofing, checks of all artwork, final production etc

- Proven experience in translating strategic and business objectives into tangible creative and communication products

- Clean, crisp, clever and effective design experience / portfolio for a major advertising/ design/ gaming

- Comfort with a fast-paced environment thats young and vibrant.

- Mobile App experience, technology experience in building products is a great trait.
