Job Overview: Role Context and Purpose: As the consumer research manager for Huawei Telecommunications (India), you will be a part of product planning department and required to provide strategic insights & actionable business recommendations through primary & secondary research. It is an individual contributor role and would be reporting directly to Head-Product Planning. Role Specifications - Expertise in understanding business objectives and ability to elicit conversation with multiple stakeholders related to business objectives - Work with teams within the organization and external partner agencies when it comes to briefing, managing market research/analysis and communicating a deeper understanding of consumers- habit and behaviour - Conduct, analyse and interpret consumer research output. Integrate the feedback from diverse sources for holistic understanding of consumer behaviour - Provide business recommendations through insights in order to drive growth across various segments and markets Education and Qualifications - 5 - 10 years of experience in market research/consumer insights - Substantial experience in quantitative research as well as qualitative research - Mix of agency (Kantar/Ipsos/Nielsen/GfK) and client side (Durables/Smartphone/Telecom) work experience - MBA in Marketing/Communications/Market Research Skills Required - Expertise on application of range of quantitative research tools/techniques - Familiarity and skills to use qualitative research tool/techniques - Experience of different type of studies: U&A, Segmentation, C-Sat, Product Testing etc. - Formulating research problem, research design and data analysis - Ability to recommend appropriate research execution plans - Ability to synthesize large data sets into crisp meaningful recommendations - Good presentation skills and ability to discuss results with senior stakeholders - Always having a point of view on all reports - Able to manage and lead projects with minimal support & guidance - Team player, efficient time management, ability to multi-task and detail oriented Please note, the position is on the rolls of Manpower Group of Services to be deputed at Huawei Telecommunications India Co.
