The Product Manager works closely with our teams to create tools, products and services for higher education aspirant students. The Product Manager plays a key role in creating and building new services or platforms that solve student needs.
- The role is cross-functional and requires the individual to own and push through projects that touch upon business, operations, technology, marketing, etc. Communicate between other Stakeholders: educators and students.
- Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release.
Responsibilities :
- Understand markets, competition and customer/user requirements in depth.
- Write detailed PRDs and hand instructions on what to build.
- Create product user personas, user stories & wireframes
- Work collaboratively with engineers and cutting edge technologies
- Drive cross-functional teams across the product development lifecycle
- Development and Training on the marketing, communications and training for each release
Skills Required :
- 3-5 years of work-ex as a Product Manager or Business Analyst
- Empathy : For our users - Higher-ed Aspirants
- Research : To not rush but to build the best product for users
- UX/UI : Because what the user sees is what s/he thinks the product is
- Analytics : Even if- self-critical because the goal is to build a better product
- Communication : Inter and intra team (we have 200 people)
Good to have :
- Be analytical and quantitatively driven, while being attentive to details.
- Experience on Enterprise Products, CRM, ERP
- Good to have experience working in education technology (EdTech) company
- Knowledge of development life cycle principles and QA processes and methodologies
