(Overview of Dept./Function) - GAC Data and Decision Systems under WPB Credit Control Services is an integrated team which is mainly responsible for the delivery and support of the risk management tools, systems and data across HSBC. The team also serves as a Decision Engine Center of Expertise for multiple Account Origination/Management risk systems along with the custodians of Global Collections data. - WPB Data and Decision Systems group facilitates the deployment of account origination and management strategies through the FIM approved decision engine. The team would need to interface heavily between the Information technology team and the end users. Additionally, the team would also act as the originator of collections data for the entire group. - The core functions include strategy deployment, data validations, process improvement, system documentation, providing consulting, guidance and delivering comprehensive risk management platforms to support risk management intelligence, analytics, MI generation, and ETL along with data management. The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role) The primary role is to support the RBWM CCS Future State Program in the GAC Data &amp; Decision Systems function with the following activities: - Support the definition and design of Decision Systems Technology Strategy i.e. build Cloud based Cognitive decision infrastructure for implementation of Advance Analytics with performance at scale - Deliver the CCS Decision Optimization program objectives related to development and implementation of Machine learning models, access to new external data and improvement of Credit Straight through processing, Turnaround time etc. - Join up with RBWM teams to deliver a consistent Cloud based Decision Infrastructure across Underwriting, Origination Fraud and Account Management - Investigative and consultancy mind with penchant for the latest technologies and continuous learn and adapt capability - Deliver &amp; execute the roll out of Future State Decision System (SAS ID) across any HSBC market - Implement best practices and standardize the change management process across various regions - Create global standard service levels &amp; deliver MI to support operational monitoring of Future Decision Systems service - Implement best practices and standardize the change management process across various regions - Create global standard service levels &amp; deliver MI to support operational monitoring of Future Decision Systems service - Deliver &amp; execute the roll out of Future State decision system ( SAS DM) across any HSBC market - Implement best practices and standardize the change management process across various regions - Create global standard service levels &amp; deliver MI to support operational monitoring of Future Decision Systems service What you'll do: (List out Key Responsibilities) : - Impact on the Business/Function: Support seamless implementation of Decision Systems Future State technology and services across countries; Improve Advance Analytics implementation and related process efficiencies through automation enhancement; Create a Cloud based Cognitive Decision Engine infrastructure which can support unstructured data and open source code. Customers / Stakeholders: Partner with Decision Systems Global and Regional teams to support initiatives and requirements; Utilize voice of customer, feedback from the countries teams to improve customer experience and process execution. Leadership &amp; Teamwork: Ability to conduct Change and alter communication styles as required. Operational Effectiveness &amp; Control: Ensure compliance and operational risk controls are implemented or in place and adhere to Group standards and policies; Cultivate a culture of Operational Risk and control awareness. What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required) - Proven expertise on SAS programing is a MUST. - Minimum 6+ years of successful track record of leading technology (functional) projects with aggressive timelines across the organization - Experience on Vendor Decision or Analytics product(s) is preferred. E.g. SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS - Decision Manager/Intelligent Decision /RTDM, Experian SMg3 / Powercurve, FICO TRIAD, Blaze Advisor, Pega, Provenir etc. - Experience on Cloud, Digital Technology and Cognitive/AI platforms will be an added advantage. - Investigative and consultancy mind with penchant for the latest technologies and continuous learn and adapt capability. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem solving skills, adaptability to change and changing work priorities and ability to drive results. - Ability to work under pressure and achieve agreed deadlines; work on multiple items concurrently where required.&nbsp; - Ability to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural diverse work environments. - Knowledge of Risk Underwriting processes or exposure to process design, re-engineering and managing change. Exposure to Banking Analytics or equivalent experience in Business, Finance or related field will be good to have. - Bachelors/Masters degree in any of the discipline like Computer Science, IT, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics from a reputed university or MCA from a reputed university.
