Purpose of Team
The team handles Hub Based funding framework for Global Research business, Business budget control and management, Finance BI &A, Management of vendor Invoices and Intercompany invoices, Headcount management, Management Information such as scorecards, travel cost management (Salesforce, HRG tool, etc), etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Invoicing/vendor management and COO support related activities
a. Manage UK vendor invoicing and related controls and reporting
b. Global Printing and distribution vendor management
c. Travel cost management (Salesforce admin, HRG) globally for Research
d. Headcount reconciliation and related controls and reporting (periodic and adhoc)
e. Intercompany invoicing and related controls and reporting
f. Other COO support related tasks
2. Business Budget control and management Information
a. Monthly scorecards to product heads and detailed expenses analysis
b. Global Research cost review and management as Market data, Media, Print & Dist, Consultancy/temp and training cost etc.
c. Managing Non GBM activity
d. Budgetary control and management across 20+ sites
e. Monthly YTD financial reporting to GR Management
f. Financial forecasts and modelling
g. Reviewing MI actual reports (Regular/adhoc)
h. Cost center (and OSPD) management
Qualifications
MBA/Masters in finance 6+ years of relevant experience
Skills/Experience
a. Good analytical and problem solving skill
b. Advanced accounting knowledge
c. Experience in Management Information and understanding of MI Reports
d. Advanced level of MS-office skills (excel, word, access and power-point)
e. Excellent English, written and spoken; excellent communication skills;
f. Ability to communicate with onshore staffs
g. Should have experience in a 'global' working environment
h. Will require self-starting ability and capability to plan, implement and complete individual assignments
i. Proven relationship skills
j. Fast learner, Quick decision making, Analytical and problem solving skills, analyze MI and able to perform series of complex calculation
