The CMB Analytics Centre of Excellence in Kolkata/Bangalore provides analytical solutions & Information management to various HSBC CMB portfolios ranging from Micro/Small to Mid-market companies across the globe. CMB Analytics Teams focus is on using logical thought process and relevant statistical techniques to understand and analyze product portfolio metrics and risk behavior to arrive at value-based optimum decisions. The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role) The Data Ethics Analyst will support the Data Ethics team to ensure that usage of data and AI across CMB is fair, transparent, explainable and aligned to the HSBC Ethics principles by implementing and controlling the ethics governance framework. Analyst will have sight of AI development happening within the different analytics teams and will be responsible to assist in Data Ethics teams day-to-day operations related to the development of procedures, execution of policies and governance framework, risk mitigation and other program elements. What you'll do: (List out Key Responsibilities) Analytical work ranges from - Providing analytical support to Data Quality Analysis, Segmentation, Threshold Setting - Trend Analysis and Dashboard Creation based on Visualization technique - Data Implementation Checks and Quality Assurance - Developing Statistical models and data frameworks - Engagement with other business initiatives as part of the Data Factory model. - Deriving the Data Management Governance framework across teams What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required) - Relevant working experience, with experience in Financial services and good understanding of data and analytics. Experience of policy implementation or model governance is preferable - Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and quickly apply new concepts to accomplish assignments - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills - Build the Universal Data Model (UDM) by creating metadata and linking it with Data Models (Logical, Conceptual , Physical) - Defining data definitions and creating its lineage to Group agreed models. - Each data element should be aligned to the Group Data Management Framework (Element - Concept- Domain) - Representing CMB and its interests in Group and Regional forums to align the requirements/ progress w.r.t. the overarching Data Governance Framework - Supporting the in-focus Customer 360 program, by recognizing and framing the data domains related to customers, like Connected Parties, Contracts, etc. - Ability to effectively navigate and mobilize between various stakeholders- Business/ IT/ Data Architects/ CDO to achieve defined strong data management goals - Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to business and design/implement solutions to meet these needs. - Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of collaboration with stakeholders. - Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders.
