Please find the job details below : Job Title : Process Lead- Consumption Purpose of Department COO Office provides direct risk and operational management support to the other HOST Functions and relevant Group, Regional, International or Country COOs. In response to regulatory requirements, HSBC Group has been restructured to create a Global Service Company (ServCo), limiting operational and financial dependencies between the different entities within the Group. The purpose of the ServCo is to ensure business continuity to HSBC Banks in the event of a catastrophic failure. With the implementation of the ServCo, a Service Management Office (SMO) has been established to provide oversight and governance of the services provided to HSBC's operating Banks. Role Purpose Process Lead- Consumption will be responsible to perform monthly consumption data collection and data validation for the Global ServCo. The role will involve identification of monthly ServCo related consumption data requirements, gathering of the consumption data from various sources and service providers and validation of the data to ensure precise and accurate bill generation by ServCo to various Service recipients. The role will require to form a detailed understanding of the multiple complex consumption data sources and ensure that impact of any changes or issues are analysed and appropriately implemented or resolved prior to the monthly consumption runs. The role will also support the validation of the data provided by the Delivery Service Providers and remediation of any issues. The Process and Analytics Lead (Consumption) will support the ServCo Commercial Management Standards and Improvement Lead in the above process. Excellent understanding of VB, Macro based Excel analysis, reporting and preparation skills are essential. In addition, the candidate should have experience managing demanding stakeholder across the organisation and managing external expectations. Job Description Process Lead - Consumption - ServCo SMO will -&nbsp; - Identify requirements for any changes in the consumption data, understanding the corresponding sources - Analyse requirements and provide relevant solutions - ensure that the changes are implemented prior to the appropriate consumption run - Coordinate with various data providers to ensure a seamless data collation on every consumption cycle - Analyse the queries received from Service providers and / or service recipients generated through the Query management system, identify resolution and ensure that it is provided / implemented, as needed - Validate the data coming out of the Consumption in process, identify any issues, and identify the root cause for the issues and subsequent resolution - Identify any issues with the Macros supporting the consumption validation process and rectify the issues - Automated extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources into large spreadsheets - Design, develop, and test macro based Excel models - Lead the automation of the consumption process utilising the strategic tools - Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents - Ensure that the agreed consumption timelines are met every month - Ensure implementation of Standard consumption in and consumption out process at all the ServCos. - Support varying complex data analysis and interpretation challenges using (mainly) excel based analysis - Ensuring seamless working relationship with ServCo functions and global business lines at a time a significant change - Develop consistent and best in class analysis, reports and tools under the guidance of Global Head of Pricing and Modelling - Support Local / Regional SMO teams for queries / assistance required in the area of service consumption - The role will operate in a highly functional or matrix organization. The role will report to the Head of Performance Reporting and Management Information / Manager SMO India and support ServCo Commercial Management Standards and Improvement Lead on a day to day basis - The role may also require work across multiple time zones. Skills/Experience Required - Very strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management and proven ability to develop analytical interfaces - Advance MS Excel skills.
