As a Business Analyst, You will gain global experience and deep understanding of the critical role Risk Transformation plays in translating business intent into clearly defined &amp; executable programmes of change across the Bank. About the function : WMR Transformation Engages with Business, IT and Risk to deliver Projects and Programs across Wholesale Credit Risk and Traded Risk. WMR Transformation provides services across Project &amp; Programme Management, Business Analysis and Design, Change and Implementation Management, PMO, Process Optimization and Test Strategy and Management. What you will do : The Traded Risk (TR) Transformation Business Analyst is to provide business analysis expertise and support Strategic, Regulatory and BAU change initiatives. The role will concentrate on supporting the Traded Risk component deliverables. This may include (but is not restricted to):- - Requirements gathering - Impact assessment - Documentation, review and appraisal of technical/functional specifications - Data analysis and normalization - Transform the data (SQL &amp; XSLT) - Define implementable Data models and Process models - Test planning, testing and support to facilitate user acceptance testing - Stakeholder Management - Business Readiness - Post implementation support - Liaising directly with software delivery teams Scope of role is global and cross asset classes as serviced by Traded Risk. Job holder will be expected to maintain a strong understanding of Market and Credit Risk processes, our obligation under Policy, TR operating principles and risk appetite and use this knowledge to make informed contributions to the projects they support. We are looking for forward-thinking and innovative individuals, with the following Knowledge &amp; Experience : - Financial services organisation experience highly preferred with specific Risk Management expertise - Market Risk &amp; Traded Credit Risk experience (preferably change delivery) - Good traded products knowledge and ability to understand the impact of trade attributes on risk measurements - Hands on experience/fluency in SQL with good knowledge of various joins and ability to write simple to moderately complex SQL queries. Nice to have prior ETL tool working experience - Experience in Data Analysis and Development, Estimation and Risk/Issue Identification - Experience of Working in XML/XSLT/JSON/Logical Data Model/Physical Data Models - Able to build Strong Relationships with other Risk functions and Business units - Team player with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills - Willingness to dig into details and appetite, enthusiasm and desire to initiate change, and execute strategy Qualification and Accreditations : - Ideally educated to Bachelor's degree level in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from reputed institutions - Master's degree preferably in Risk Mgmt, Finance or Data Science - Candidates from 2014 or prior batches - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience What can this lead to? - Work with process and product owners to devise High level Operating models to implement core epics as end to end business processes. - Collaborate with service area leads &amp; other stakeholders to propose solution. - Maintain traceability between regulation, core epics, service area epics, stories &amp; software deployments. - Be at the heart of regulatory change &amp; implementation - on Traded / Market risk domain.
