HSBC - Analyst /Senior Analyst /Manager - MGO Testing - Compliance Analytics


The incumbent for this role is expected to :

- Participate in projects leading to solutions using various analytical techniques for the Compliance activities through involvement in any or all of the following activities.

- Data Quality Analysis, Segmentation, Threshold Setting and Tuning for Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening, Surveillance, Conduct and more.

- Trend Analysis and Dashboard Creation based on Visualization technique.

- Data Implementation Checks and Quality Assurance.

- Execute the assigned projects/ analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality.

- Complete analysis as required and document results and formally present findings to management.

- Review functional requirements business and technical requirement documentation to create the relevant test strategy.

- Adhere with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable.

- Create the Test completion reports, circulate and secure sign offs and approvals from all stakeholders.

Skills/Experience Required:

- A B. Tech / MCA or an equivalent degree.

- 1 - 6 years of post-qualification experience in Analytics / UAT / Data driven testing/ validation.

- Knowledge / Experience in testing / project management.

- The Role requires strong stakeholder management skills.

- Strong technical skills, including working with advanced data sets, ability to produce and interrogate complex analytical data using a selection of pivot tables, advanced database and statistical functions and methods. Must have experience of querying and analysing large/complex data sources using SAS/SQL/Python.

- Strong excel and PowerPoint experience to create complex reports and make meaningful presentations.

- Self-driven - with a 'can-do' approach, motivated and willing to handle challenging tasks within strict deadlines, without any compromise on Quality.

- Should be a team player.

- Good organizational, numerical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.

- Understanding of data structures, reporting tools, programming language & Systems.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
