Manager HR for leading Media company

MBA from premium B-School.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide support on a range of people practices including performance management of under achievers, local statutory compliance, policy implementation, awareness

- Lead employee engagement initiatives across the function

- Support the design and delivery of policies for the India office with support from relevant stakeholders within HR locally and globally

- Support effective management of Talent practices, such as Performance reviews, Talent Reviews. These will be managed in partnership with local and global Talent Management team members.

- Support and implement talent engagement and retention strategies

- Compensation cycle related to the function.

- Facilitates employee Exit Process; Prepares supporting paperwork and subsequent filing.

- Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach.

Knowledge/Experience:

- Strong in matrix management, strong communicator, ability to influence and objectively challenge status - quo

- Proven track record managing senior leader relationships across geographies and ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines.

- Experience in supporting a diverse internal stakeholder group

- Open to feedback and willing to strive to improve own performance based on feedback

- Excellent understanding of key HR functional areas including HR operations, local regulatory compliance, talent practices, compensation and benefits

- Exposure to organizational development initiatives including design and process implementation

Competencies:

- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills;

- Process oriented and Strong system skills

- Ability to interpret and analyse key people related metrics

- Good planning, analytical and organizing skills, with strong sense of accountability;

- Open-minded team player and flexible to change;
