HR Manager - Consulting (9-13 yrs)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Analyses and makes recommendations to management on organizational changes and the optimum use of personnel, modifications to personnel policy, procedures and standards, and provides long-range development of management goals and objectives.

- Responsible for working in close coordination with business and U.S. HR leadership of the process to achieve business delivery targets (strategic initiatives, leadership development plans and staffing plans etc)

- Key ownership in implementation of corporate/business and location HR strategies within the process team and adhere to hr policies/practices.

- Plan, organize, assign and supervise the work of subordinate human resources associates including setting work priorities, determining methods and procedures to be used, resolving problems, selecting alternatives and overseeing the most complex and sensitive work; provide performance direction, leadership, training, guidance, counseling and evaluation to assigned staff; recruit for and select staff to fill vacancies; enhance workflow performance.

- Lead successful execution of orientation, as well as on-boarding of field associates.

- Focus on talent management with innovative engagement strategies to focus on reducing attrition and also effective employee engagement

- Oversee efforts in support of building management capability to facilitate an effective employee relations environment by providing advice and counsel, and, if necessary, conducting or overseeing employee relations, investigations and providing analytics

- Collaborate with leadership on building a performance management strategy and philosophy for the entire organization; implement performance & workforce management practices and drive implementation across various businesses and functional teams

- Coordinate work with U.S. HR staff, and India leadership; prepare budget, estimates and justification for HR programs and operations

- May participate in negotiations of vendor contracts; prepare budget estimates and justification for assigned programs; maintain cost controls to ensure compliance with budget provisions.

- Direct and ensure the maintenance of records and preparation of reports necessary for program operations; prepare reports and correspondence as required.

- Analyses and makes recommendations to management on compensation trends and working closely with finance for annual salary cycle review.

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

- Coordinate the work of diverse function within human resources

- Plan organize and review the work of others

- Secure the cooperation of operating officials in accepting and effecting sound human resources management practices

- Resource management and staffing function experience is a prerequisite

- Ability to work in a fast pace/growth organization – entrepreneur environment

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a management diploma in Human Resources/Industrial Relations

- At least 7-9 years of progressive Human Resources experience

- At least 3-5 years experience in a supervisor/manager capacity over one or more major human resources dept function
