HR Leader

I represent Quest Consultants (www.questconsultants.in), which has a 31 year lineage having been founded by IIT, IIM graduates. It continues to be anchored by them. The company operates out of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Kolkata.

An extremely large and highly respected Indian Multinational Corporation has entrusted us with the selection of an outstanding HR professional to head their Bangalore unit which focuses on world-wide R&D and IT related activities.

The ideal candidate should be a seasoned HR generalist with at least a ten year experience, preferably with an MNC. The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire Human Resources Function and advising and influencing the business functions on HR related matters for both national and expatriate employees working in the Unit. Those who have had exposure to interacting closely with highly qualified techno professionals will find this position attractive. He will have a strong and competent HR team to support him.

Some of the major activities will include:

- Manpower planning, budgeting and tracking headcounts and costs.

- Talent identification and acquisition.

- Performance Management and Development – facilitate goal-setting, rating and calibrations.

- Regular Update and sharing HR best practices in the industry with specific reference to R&D / IT.

- Compensation & Benefits - Benchmarking and Management

- Develop and implement Training and Development needs for the team

- Talent assessment, Identification of skill gaps and implementation of development interventions;

- Talent banding and internal assessment for career development.

Location: Bangalore

The position reports to Sr. VP-HR

Remuneration and perks will range between Rs 50 and 60 lacs per annum.
