HR Business Partner - Retail/BFS/Hospitality/FMCG (5-8 yrs)
HR Business Partner
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to business leaders and managers in the company, providing effective HR solutions and support.
- Oversee the management of HR operations for 10+ stores, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Handle HR activities for the Mumbai Pune location, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, keeping up-to-date with legal changes and proactively implementing necessary measures.
- Act as a point of contact for industrial relations, fostering positive relationships with external stakeholders such as labor unions and government bodies.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention.
- Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of conflicts and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver training programs that enhance HR knowledge and skills among managers and employees.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies to address issues related to employee turnover, absenteeism, and engagement.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing expertise and support in areas such as employee engagement surveys, HR policy development, and organizational development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, Master's degree in HRM or MBA is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role, with a focus on managing multiple stores and handling HR activities in the Mumbai-Pune region.
- Sound knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations practices in India.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in using MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to staying updated on industry best practices and legal requirements related to HR.
