- Partner with the leadership to understand the business environment and work priorities; develop and execute HR strategies, policies/processes, and people agenda
- Responsible for aligning business objectives with management and employees and is the link between HR and the business
- Accelerate change and be an effective change agent to meet business imperatives aligning with the industry HR best practices
- Drive Olam's culture and ensure every decision, processes and policies reflect the culture and employee value proposition of the organization
- Advise and support managers on strategic issues and help them implement high-performing, integrated human resources practices
- Define crucial activities from an HR/business partnering standpoint to get desired outcomes and drive HR strategy to enable the organization to be the employer of choice brand
- Engage with the function/BU heads to improve employee relations and drive engagement programs for the supporting business units
- Drive Inclusion and Diversity (IDEO - Inclusion, Diversity, Equality at Olam) across the organization, and be a champion in designing policies and programs to promote the objectives of IDEO
- Manage satisfaction programs to improve morale and retention; promote an environment that encourages employee growth
- Review results of People Surveys and work with leadership to affect change; implementation of primary HR processes like competency benchmarking, annual/mid-year promotions and appraisal, performance management, compensation & benefits etc.
- Partner with the L&D team to assess skill gaps with leadership and execute plans for skill development areas.
