Reportees : Nil People Manager Role : NO Location : Bangalore Company : Top eCommerce Firm Job Purpose : The individual will implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. This includes implementing annual HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation revisions, promotions, succession planning, and action plans resulting from employee surveys. Individual will partner with their clients throughout the planning and execution for these programs, tying them back to the business strategy. Individual will also work to improve organizational design and structure, provide change leadership and management coaching, as well as design and deliver management training. This position also provides challenging and exciting opportunities to lead and participate in cross group and companywide projects such as retention &amp; engagement, capability building, development of internal processes and policies, design and optimization of tools and systems, plus recognition and retention programs. To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess high levels of ownership, ability to take in diverse perspectives and come up with initiatives for new programs and process improvements with minimal guidance or supervision. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. Roles and Responsibilities : - Partner with business leaders and other support functions to maintain a highly motivated and engaged workforce. - Translate business strategy and goals into HR processes and programs that are scalable, simple, employee-friendly and adaptable to unique and changing business needs - Work with senior management and the HR team to design, develop and implement innovative HR initiatives and solutions. - Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development. - Provide management coaching to front line managers and senior leaders. - Assess business unit's HR training needs and conduct 1:1 and group training sessions as appropriate. - Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities for Company. - Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements. - Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on performance management and talent development. - Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling. - Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests. Job Specifications : Education : - Fulltime MBA in HR or allied field of studies is required Experience, qualifications and skills required : 1. 2-5 years of experience in HR (In areas such as HRBP, HR generalist, OD, talent management etc.) out of which at least 2 years should be in client facing/business partnering role. 2. Experience in partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business setting is required. 3. Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative. 4. This role supports teams in corporate office as well as city offices spread across India, which may require slight (~5%) travel for employee connects. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation. 6. Willingness and ability to scale between tactical process management and strategic partnership with leaders 7. Proficiency in MS Excel/Analytics tool is preferred
