HR Business Partner - BFS/IT (4-8 yrs)

Role Purpose :

The person will be responsible for providing end to end HR support (Business Partnering) for the GT Mumbai office. This includes supporting the line managers to deliver their targets whilst ensuring adherence to the corporate policies and procedures. The person will be completely responsible for people management, acting as an adviser and providing professional support for all HR & related activities.


Role Details :

Process Improvement & Program Effectiveness

- Partner with the central HR Team for all processes like onboarding, background verifications, payroll, leave & attendance regularizations, exits, etc

- Provides input and feedback to the Central HR Team on gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR programs and policies

- Contribute to developing/refining HR programs & processes through quality improvement interventions

Employee Engagement

- Manage end to end employee life cycle.

- Performance Management - participate in the implementation of the Annual Performance Cycle by providing consultation on the process and program tool support

- Succession planning

- Partner in sharing HR trends & intelligence for alignment & review of HR priorities

- Provide support to Corporate HR on key HR projects with stakeholders in the areas of Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Learning Culture, etc

- Partner in driving employee engagement programs through proactive and structured interventions

- Handle grievances and concerns with empathy and bring them to closure

- Escalate issues to proper authorities as & when the need arises

- Keeps a proactive check on the general employee well-being & engagement levels and intervenes actively when necessary

Talent Acquisition

- Plan and execute the hiring plans for IT and non-IT positions at all levels

Performance Management

- Partner with the line managers to address performance gaps and facilitate discussions/processes to assess appropriate action

- Guide Line Managers on all aspects of performance management including feedback and performance coaching

Learning & Development

- Plan and execute the training & development programs as per Corporate L&D Calendar

- Actively build a culture of learning by sharing best practices and knowledge-sharing across the region.

- Jointly responsible for onboarding, initial coaching & mentoring of employees

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

- Fluent in English and Hindi language. Knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage

- Significant experience and knowledge of the local job market

- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders

- Ability to coach and mentor sales employees, having a strong sales acumen himself/herself

- Strong Business Communication skills with the ability to influence and convince stakeholders by objectively presenting & challenging views

- Proficient in handling employee issues with sensitivity, objectivity and empathy

- Proficient in data analytics, process orientations & exception handling

- Team Player with the ability to network & collaborate with diverse teams across locations

Education Qualification

- MBA in HR from Tier 1 / Tier 2 Institutes

- 4-8 years of HR work experience
