We are currently working on an HRBP role for a leading well-funded startup in the AI space. The role is based in Bangalore.
This is a very interesting role that will focus on Employee engagement, L&D along with implementing best practices and policies in HR. Please note this is not a TA role and people with strong focus on employee engagement and policy background will be preferred. You will get exposure to working with global stakeholders.
To fit the bill you must have worked with a global MNC followed by a mid-sized organization and must be a high energy individual with high IQ and willingness to learn every day and roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Employee Lifecycle: Define and optimize onboarding and offboarding processes, templates, and content to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Employee engagement: Drive employee engagement programs - surveys, internal communication, rewards & recognition; analyze survey inputs to drive corrective actions
- Policy and Practices: Design, implement, and update HR policies; benchmark and align compensation and benefits with industry
- Learning & Development: Set up systems, content, instructors for learning and development, analyze learning needs on a quarterly basis, and finalize training calendar
- Performance management: Drive end-to-end process, including planning and execution of appraisals, coordination of payouts, and improving the process based on feedback received
- Employee Issue Addressal: Address employee issues. Mediate HR issues as per standard operating procedures
- Systems and processes: Ensure all HR activities are system-driven and have well-defined processes; drive adherence of these processes across the company

- Ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Personable and empathetic
- Comfortable dealing with and resolving conflicts
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
Education: Post Graduate / MBA
Experience: At least 12 years of HR experience with a well-established company and strong people management experience.
