HR Analyst (People Data Specialist)


Required Qualifications :


- Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field and five (5) years of experience working in a data analytics environment

- Requires 7+ years of reporting work experience in HR data, systems, or reporting

- Minimum of 5+ years of performing queries, developing reports and visualizations, and a variety of analytic products

- Experience building impactful visualization for data story-telling

- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Experience with one or more HRMs systems (SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors, etc)

- Experience with one or more query languages (SQL, SPSS, R, Python, etc)

- Experience with applications (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc) and/or similar data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence tools

People Data Specialist

- The People Data Specialist supports our People Data & Insights (PD&I) function to execute the People data analytics strategy. This role requires effective and persistent partnership with HR stakeholders, and digital technology colleagues team to ensure we deliver meaningful metrics, trends, key insights, and detailed analyses in all areas of HR.

- In this role you will report to the Global Manager of People Data & Insights on a journey of building the foundational infrastructure to accelerate the Air Product's understanding of its employee data to steer key decisions we make towards developing an extraordinary workforce.


- You will engage with clients and partners in our centers of excellence, and providing data insights and data-storytelling to the HR Business Partners representing the lines of business around the global. You will be supported by a team with a shared commitment to creating a diverse & inclusive work environment, where all voices are heard and valued.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with one or more query languages (SQL, SPSS, R, Python, etc)

- Experience with applications (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc) and/or similar data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence tools

- Exceptional ability to present and communicate data, analysis, and findings to the appropriate audience

- Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of data and the organizational structure, including impacts to data/metrics due to changes in organizational structure

- Experience in complex data analytics and developing statistical reporting

- Experience or applicable knowledge in the areas of Strategic Workforce Planning, NLP, AI & Predictive Forecasting

Responsibilities :

- Support driving the PD&I long-term strategy to scale through short-term support, projects, and execution

- Partner with the business functions and HR COEs providing a consultative approach to build forecasting models, optimize insights, and enable leadership to make informed business decisions with agility

- Act as project lead & co-lead on people data projects related to the PD&I roadmap

- Adhoc Case management of advanced reporting & analysis

- Analytical projects including proactive, complex, longer-term solution building and data-storytelling using data visualization tools

- Perform analyses including quantitative and qualitative approaches, transactional / efficiency, and human capital metrics

- Build key datasets to empower operational and exploratory analysis. Monitor key metrics and understand root causes of changes in metrics

- Analyze data and provide solutions with meaningful impact

- Identify opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement within the reporting/data analysis spectrum

- Provide strong project management for HR/Talent Analytics strategic roadmap

- Build strong collaborative relationships within HR Analytics team and various stakeholders throughout the organization
