The Analytics Consultant will support the development and execution of fact-based reporting & analysis to enhance decision making across the APJ EG marketing organization and enable a data-drive culture. The Consultant will apply domain expertise in data analysis and analytics including customer insights, data visualization, business intelligence tools, data management tools and measurement and monitoring tools to develop executive dashboards, standardized reports, insights and prescriptive actions to marketing stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimization

Roles & Responsibilities :

This is critical multi-faceted, hands-on role that requires an aptitude to quickly learn the B2B marketing processes, strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to handle multiple detailed marketing effectiveness analysis and drive consistency and process improvements.

- Define key performance criteria and create analytical insights to support and measure all aspects of lead /opportunity generation: data quality, marketing campaign effectiveness, $ marketing contribution and overall business performance.

- Analyze metrics and data drawing conclusions and providing recommendations for marketing effectiveness.

- Apply analytical techniques and analyze marketing data to identify root cause: effect relationships between marketing tactics, actions, and outcomes

- Develop data based insights that can be leveraged as inputs into marketing planning and investment

- Drive adoption of “best practice” in marketing effectiveness and develop further process improvements.

- Apply advance analytical techniques to improve business strategy through Marketing Mix modeling , Optimizing lead targeting, measuring B2B events

Desired Skills and Experience

- 3-7 yrs years experience which includes data management, business intelligence and Marketing measurement measurement/monitoring/community tools and best practices, within and outside marketing.

- Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.

- Ability to communicate complex data concepts in ways that marketing leaders and other functions will understand.

- Proven ability to analytical techniques and their application to marketing challenges.

- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in the use of business intelligence tools

- Experience working with big data and datasets a plus.

- Proficiency in the use of computer programs and programming languages, such as SAS, SQL, R in order to manipulate data a plus.

- Academic background –Post Graduation /Masters in in analytics, marketing, technology, business, or Quantitative discipline.

Qualification :

- Should be a post graduate in a Quantitative discipline/Management

(Masters in technology/engg ,econometrics, economics, Business Administration/any other quant discipline.)
