Position: Senior Product Manager Location: Gurgaon Organization: House Technologies Role: Looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about solving high impact problems in a fast-paced start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy. This is inherently a cross-functional role where you will work closely with teams such as Engineering, Design, Category Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc. to build cohesive platforms as well as consumer experiences Responsibilities: - Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap. - Gather, manage, and prioritize market/customer requirements. - Research and analyze existing products and solutions to define the right product strategy and combination for efficient business operations. - Formulating product strategy factoring the ecosystem, industry and competition - Work with stakeholders to shape up business requirements - Formulating growth and sales strategy using product management & analytics skills - Continuous improvement: Work and strive towards optimizing product, product flows and processes in order to provide operational efficiency. - Build unique and delightful product experience for consumers as well as business users - Play an active role in defining the UX of the products - Work closely with the engineering team to continually optimize the product requirements as well as time to market - Responsible for timely shipping out product/features with no compromise in quality Key Deliverables - Product Managers drive action through the company mainly through written documents supported by presentations. Here is a list of the most common documents that you may be asked to create. - Business case document/Market needs document Product Roadmaps - User and Product flows on wireframing/flowcharting tools - White papers, case studies, product comparisons, competitor analysis, and user stories - Excel spreadsheets to document data used above Key Skills Required - 5+ year of experience as a Product Manager in building products for ecommerce/logistics/fintech - UI/UX knowledge with focus on understanding customer behaviour and analysing data & real-world experiences - Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for both data driven thinking and user experience - Possess an analytic bent of mind to look at the problem from a different perspective, an eye for details and a product mindset - Good project management skills to be able to drive product development - Ability to lead a team and build partnerships with other functions - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills - An engineering / technical background that will allow you to reason about product trade-offs and make good choices with minimal inputs from the engineering team - Good knowledge of wireframing, designing and flowcharting tools Qualification: - Overall experience of 5+ yrs. with at least 3+ yrs. in product management in a tech-first company - Exceptional problem-solving skills based on first principles thinking - Good understanding of technology, and comfort with product management processes such as A/B experimentation, writing product requirement documents, managing product backlogs, and creating roadmaps - B.Tech or MBA from Top Tier colleges
