Position Overview Financial Controller maintains the financial integrity of an organization, including ensuring the efficiency of its internal control environment. He/she will be primarily tasked with ensuring that the company maintains sound financial management practices, as well as overseeing fiscal operations, accounts payable/receivable, budget, payroll, purchasing, and other areas. Financial Controller must ensure that the company adheres to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and they work closely with both internal and external auditors. They must also conduct performance evaluation reviews of employees in accordance with the organizations guidelines, procedures, and policies and provide timely feedback. Roles & Responsibilities - Timely closing of Accounts on month to month basis. - Preparation of P& L Account and Balance sheet, every month and compilation of MIS - Co-ordination with the Consultants on Secretarial matters. - Exports Sales and Debtors Accounting. - Compilation of Departmental Budget incl. Capex and Preparation of Budgeted P&L Account. - Controlling and support in the Banking and Finance function. Including Margin Money account. - Controlling and Supervising the Creditors Control/Purchase Accounts activity and providing guidance and support to person handling the same. - Local Sales AND Debtors Accounting and monitoring C Forms from the customers. - Ensuring the TDS return and TDS payments and Issue of Form 16 A- Co-ordination. - Checking of expense vouchers and proper checking of TDS etc. - Checking of Materials Accounting vouchers and proper checking of refundable taxes etc. - Tax Payment & Tax Assessment- Co-ordination with the consultants. - GST and Co-ordination with the Consultants. Qualifications & Requirements: - Chartered accountant with 6-8 years of Experience in audit/finance/controllership and proven ability to operate in a startup environment. - Good Knowledge on Accounts and Accounting standards, Taxation. - Knowledge of Treasury - Knowledge of service industry costing - Knowledge of Regulatory & Corporate Affairs - Knowledge of and able to perform price and/or reimbursement negotiations - Experience with lobbying requirements
