Role Description : As Planning Head for HomeLane, you will own the health of project delivery at HomeLane, for each Delivery Unit. You will have to keep a real time track of supply capacities - Manufacturing capacity, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Installation capacity, and Working capital Requirement planning. You will also own the fulfilment of projects by leading various cross functional team - Overall Handover TAT and OTIF Utilizing the ERP and Order Management systems, you will create and maintain an achievable production, installation plan that balances load and capacity. You must create and sustain a demand and supply plan that identifies potential capacity issues such as demand spikes, manpower requirements, cash outflows. An analytical thinker who can anticipate and develop effective solutions, you will have a good understanding of ERP systems and inventory control and be a strong negotiator with cross functional teams who can strive for results. You will lead a team that is centrally controlled but positioned across various cities. Responsibilities :&nbsp; Supply planning : - Maintain a medium and long term demand forecast, basis the annual order book plan - Create supply plans - long, medium and monthly for catering to the actual and forecast demand - Production capacity - Installation capacity - MRP and inventory plan - Cash/working capital requirements - Set models for monthly throughput (40% and 50% collection targets) - Set and monitor targets for no of shipments and no of installations completed month-on-month - Provide inputs to production team on capacity additions, procurement teams on MRP, BU teams on likely no of projects and installation manpower needs - Execute the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact. Project planning and execution : - Maintain planned vs actual activity chart for each project. - Manage a range of moderately complex supply chain processes, so that the project execution is as per plan - Collaborate with all teams - production, warehousing, logistics, installation, vendor managers&nbsp; - To ensure that the products and services needed for fulfilment are available on site as per the planned date. Drive any backlog management : - Production - Installation - Define SOPs for various activities and teams to ensure the common goal of Handover TAT and OTIF is maintained. - Drive adherence to process for each executed project. Handle exceptions and priority projects, take decisions to allow/disallow. - Support delivery and HL Care teams in closing customer escalations - Driver of cross functional teams to deliver fulfilment metrics - OTIF (FTC and FTR) Install TAT : - Handover TAT (45/55 day strike rate) - Review performance on weekly basis and identify opportunities for improvement Skills, capabilities &amp; background : - Post-graduate from a Tier 1 engineering / management school - Having previously worked in demand/supply planning for a fairly complex supply chain - Strong understanding of operations and supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver) - Project management, Analytical and data modelling skills - 6+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain functions - Excellent people management skills (ideally, should have managed a span of 10+)
