Role description :

As Business Unit Head, you will be responsible for the P&L of the city, the customer experience we offer our clients & prospects, and the development & management of the team based in the city. This is a highly entrepreneurial role, and will need you to be great at 0 to 1 and at 1 to 100.

Your span of control will include the city sales, design and operations teams. You will lead our relationship with all city-based partners (Square Partners, Design Partners), vendors (manufacturers, HDS vendors, local service providers who enable business for us). In this role, you will also work closely with the central team based in Bengaluru, to build towards our company's philosophy.

KPI :

1. New order booking (incl tax)

2. Revenue (excl tax)

3. 40% collection

4. 50% collection

5. Contribution Margin %2

6. NPS - Design & Completion

2 Contribution Margin = Revenue - Cost of Goods Sold - Design Costs - Square Partner Payments - Internal Ops Cost - Marketing Costs (Online & Offline customer acquisition, Branding)

Responsibilities :

Customer acquisition :

- Generate leads

- Acquire home-owner databases of apartment complexes

- Proportion of small % of marketing budget to digital marketing lead generation

- Carry out BTL activities to generate awareness & leads amongst TG

- Generate meetings

- Convert leads to meetings through email, voice and text campaigns, leveraging the our Customer Service Team

- Ensure adequate staffing for meetings

- Drive meeting-SLAs - accurate quotes sent to 100% of prospects met within stipulated time

Drive order closure :

- Leverage our sales force: 1-2 Assistant Sales Managers; 1 Showroom Manager per experience centre; Design Partners; Design Relationship Managers; and Bengaluru-based Welcome Team

- Leverage our technology capabilities: Spacecraft, IQ, Modular Quotation App, Phoenix / Salesforce

- Drive sales SLAs - sales followups, revised quotations, site visits (as needed)

- Manage overall marketing budget

- Based on city target

- Customer servicing

Design :

- Manage 10-40% process of design to ensure customers get a top-notch experience

- Hire & retain Design Manager, Design Relationship Managers & in collaboration with our People Team

Production :

- Installation

- Managing customer escalations across Design, production and Installation should also feature here

- Ensuring that our firm is delivering on our 45 day guarantee on every single project

- Hiring and employee performance management in City X

Design Management :

Admin - B2B Business Development

Who we are looking for:

- Seasoned entrepreneur / P&L owner with 5-10 years of experience in fast-paced, high growth setups

- Tier I undergrad (IITs, BITS, St. Stephen's College, LSR, SRCC, Loyola College, Anna University) and / or Tier I MBA (IIMs, ISB, INSEAD, Ivy Leagues)

- Strong people management skills, with a track record of directly managing high-potential professionals

- Strong bias for action, customer centricity and deep-dive traits
