Job Description: Solution Architect

Location - Gurgaon

Summary :

- Enterprise Architecture team is accountable for sustainable alignment of Information, technology and business architectures within Home Credit India as well as for support of business objectives, industry best practices and regulation and for providing of platform for innovations of business models and business processes towards digital enterprise.

- Solution Architect as a member of the Enterprise Architecture team has responsibility for architectural design and documentation of enterprise wide solutions requiring multiple technologies. With support of Integration Architects and Data Architects he takes accountability for ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness of solutions implemented for customers, partners or employees of Home Credit India.

Job Responsibilities : 

- Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives

- Define subsystems and their interfaces; allocate responsibilities to subsystems; understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context

- Establish critical Nonfunctional Requirements at the solution level; participate in the definition of others

- Work closely with Integration and Data Architects on solution specification

- Motivation and guidance of development teams to understand and accept solution architecture

- Govern the solution architecture across all phases of delivery

- Maintain documentation of applications architecture, share the knowledge across all teams

- Govern the constant performance monitoring of solutions, actively drive the performance improvement and the simplification of the application architecture

- Maintain current industry knowledge of solution architecture concepts and best practices

- Work closely with application and system engineers to test, configure, and optimize solution architecture and infrastructure based on application demands

Desired Profile : 

- Minimum 7- 10+ years analysis, development and implementation experience across different stages of SDLC

- Experience as a solution/applications architect on 3 - 4 project with significant integration part, one of them in banking industry

- Good understanding of integration and application architecture specific to the banking sector

- Experience in design and delivery of service-oriented architectures (REST and SOAP)

- Experience working with XML, JSON and non-SQL databases and relational databases

- Experience working in Java, J2EE, mobile development and web application development

- Experience in working with UML tools

- Experience of software development waterfall and Agile lifecycles

- Excellent communication & analytical skills

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Accountable and self-motivated person oriented to results

- M.Tech - Computers, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Computers, MCA - Computers, B.Tech - Any Graduate
