Home Credit - Assistant Vice President - Cross Sell Underwriting (12-18 yrs)

Summary :

To ensure underwriting process stability of a selected portfolio and thus minimize credit risk. To maximize underwriting process efficiency.

Job Responsibilities :

PROCESS & RISK MANAGEMENT :

- Manage team of 4-5 people

- Responsible for scoring development

- Responsible for underwriting process monitoring and optimization

- Responsible for credit limit management for and risk policies development for revolving products

- Undertakes analysis to discover segments of excess levels of credit risk

- Prepare and document policy changes or new products in cooperation with Risk units and other departments

- Developing standardized regular and ad-hoc reporting for various levels of management

- Providing data extraction, analysis and visualization to support company-wide decision making

- Propose challengers to existing strategy, document it and evaluate performance

- Cooperate on risk related projects

COMMUNICATION:

- Regular communication and cooperation with Underwriting, Anti-fraud, Portfolio Management and Collections Managers

- Regular update of CRO and/or UW Head about activities and initiatives

- Escalate risks and issues to appropriate level of management

- Effectively communicate relevant information to CRO and to Headquarters

Desired Profile:

- Expertise in risk management of revolving products (credit cards, overdrafts, etc.)

- Expert in analytical tools and data analaysis

- Banking or Consumer Finance background

- Practical experience in risk strategy and processes

- Advanced financial and analytical thinking

- Fluent in English

- Communication and presentation skills

- Minimum of 12+ years proven experience in Risk analytical or management position

- Financial planning and profit and loss model

- Knowledge of the Indian finance industry

- Knowledge of anti-fraud and collections management
