About Hoichoi :

- We are an on-demand video streaming entertainment platform for Bengali's worldwide. With an array of exciting content choices including Bengali Classics, Blockbusters, Documentaries, Short Films and Exclusive original web series we aim to be home to the best in Bengali entertainment.

- Hoichoi is the digital vertical of SVF Entertainment - a leading Media and Entertainment company in East India, with 7 National Awards to its credit and capabilities in Film and TV Production, Cinemas, Distribution, Digital Cinema, Music and New Media.

The Role :

- We are looking for a Head of Growth who can help hoichoi scale faster. hoichoi being a subscription-based entertainment platform the focus of this role would be to work with a multidisciplinary team and optimize our marketing funnel to deliver rapid growth in our user base.

- You will optimize every part of our customer funnel by designing and implementing data led acquisition, activation and retention strategies. Working cross functionally to drive high performance & continuous improvement to achieve growth targets aligned with the company's strategy.

Responsibilities will include :

- Sole responsibility for subscription revenue targets of hoichoi.

- Develop and execute strategic acquisition and retention marketing plans to maximize immediate and long-term ROI.

- Understand, analyze the customer journey and identify key touch points to optimize customer re-activation and retention

- Drive traffic and ensure high conversions % in installs by planning, setting up, monitoring and analyzing mobile user acquisition campaigns

- Lead campaigns end-end from conception to defining objectives, execution, tracking, and reporting to ensure the initiatives are driving relevant growth.

- Independently manage budgets and prepare thorough, dynamic media planning, efficiently allocating budget to different sources based on performance.

- Day-to-day management of online and offline campaigns across channels including (but not limited to): paid social, paid search, content, organic, referral, email, direct mail, podcasts, affiliate, and video.

- Lead overall site conversion rate optimization and develop and optimize landing page strategy. Create marketing automation strategies for user onboarding, content discovery and conversion through in app, push, sms and other channels

- Champion metrics-driven analysis and decision making across the organization to drive growth.

- Monitor, analyze, and report KPIs to ensure growth initiatives are driving profitable growth. Use analytics and business intelligence tools to better understand our customers and exploit those insights in marketing campaigns.

- Analysis of user behavior and design targeted promotions

- Lead growth projects and a team of Marketers to achieve the Business goals and work with various teams such as Marketing, Product, Data, Design, Engineering, to drive user growth and get the right product mix.

- Lead user research competitor bench marking and guide the product road map.

- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth across organic, social, video and community driven channels

- You must be comfortable with working with ambiguous goals, running experiments, learning from failures, analyzing data, and reporting results.

Must have skills :

- 6-8 years of direct, growth focused experience in digital marketing ideally in a B2C or startup environment

- Experience in organic user growth methods and proven track record of driving results through multiple marketing channels. Advanced knowledge of SEO, ASO, marketing analytics and SEM.

- Good understanding of the main mobile marketing tech, especially attribution, conversion tracking, programmatic advertising etc.

- Previous budgeting and budget spending responsibilities for ROI based mobile user acquisition campaigns

- Strong understanding of Customer Engagement tools like DV360, Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager, AppsFlyer and other Online Advertising, Marketing Automation and Analytics tools

- The ability to create a holistic environment where marketing and product work together to achieve revenue and acquisition goals

- Strong experimental, growth and learning mindset with an excellent sense of accountability.

- Ability to collaborate and work across levels, highly Resourceful and creative

- Strong analytical rigor and a developed sense of quantitative intuition

- Proficiency in SQL will give you an edge.
