Job overview :

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on a company's profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. You will research and analyse financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.

Responsibilities :

- Building financial models as per clients need with working knowledge in M&A, LBO, DCF modelling-Advanced level excel and PPT skills.

- Work on the entire life cycle of deals; starting from deal origination to deal closure.

- Building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics

- Conducting Scenario Analysis based on macro and micro factors that will help in assessing risk.

- Ensuring accurate modelling of allocated portfolios and developing new transaction models and enhancing the existing models.

- Analyzing and identifying data requirements related to derivation rules and model tracking.

- Valuation of Companies.

- Preparation of the Investment Memorandum (IM), Pitch decks, Teaser, Management - Presentation. This would include carrying out Market Research for the same

- Understands the business and reporting requirements of clients through coordination with various teams to gather necessary reporting materials;

- Create Internal team reports on Startups for the partners to review.

To qualify, candidates must have :

- A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA) or Business with 1+ years of related work experience

- A minimum of a year (1+) direct experience in utilizing Valuation techniques and methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Income Approach, market comparables, etc. in a business valuation firm or practice or in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, financial research, national valuation firm or experience working in a corporate finance role for an organization, preferably for M&A activities

- Experience in financial modelling including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel and related software preferred

- Preferably a CFA (Level 3 Aspirant or Level 2 Cleared), CPA or someone with related certification.

- Advanced knowledge and experience in any of the following sectors will be added advantage - Financial Services, Technology, Consumer Products, and E-commerce

- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal and teaming skills
