Role Description Sourcing, Procurement & Contracting of IT Hardware, Software product Exp Level 10+ Years Procurement Skills : - Description Well versed with the various product categories within the IT domain. Knowledgable about concepts like TCO, Competitive bidding, Spend analysis - Category knowledge - Description Purchasing & Contracting of IT H/W, Software & Telecom products. - Purchasing & Contracting of Telecom Bandwidth for large corporations. - Purchasing & Contracting of Non IT categories like Facilities, MRO, Manpower services, Engineering services etc - Vendor Management - Description Identification of vendors, Negotiations with vendors for best value, onboarding of new vendors. - Knowledge of tools/applications - Description Exposure to Supply chain systems/tools knowledge like SAP-MM modules and application like Outlook, Excel etc - Knowledge of RFXs - Description Being able to conduct RFXs to determine the right supplier through accurate RFPs and RFQs - Knowledge of laws and compliance - Description Exposure to STP, SEZ and customs requirements/compliances. Commercial knowledge on Taxations and statutory compliance. - Communication - Description Very Good written and oral communication skills - Cross-functional collaboration - Description Being able to manage the dynamics of collaborating with other functions like Finance, Technical services Group ( IT team), operations team and the admin team for delivery . - Process improvements & innovation - Description Able to do internal process mappings . Able to define and implement new processes. - Skill long desc Well versed in activities like RFP/RFQ, offer receipt, Evaluation of Vendor Packages, Techno-commercial evaluation, Benchmarking, Negotiation, Finalization of order, contracting strategy, release purchase order/work order, Delivery follow up etc. - Identify best in class suppliers in IT Hardware, Software, Non IT ( Facilities Management, Engineering services, MRO, Manpower services and Telecomm procurement area and help them to grow their business with HGS - Able to do internal process mapping and develop improvement plans. - Responsible for supplier relationship, engage with the business leadership to enable short and long term strategies. Ensure all the procurements are done in accordance with the procurement policy. - Conduct RFPs to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained for the company. Stakeholder expectation management. - Cross functional collaboration with finance and other functions. - Exposure to STP, SEZ and customs requirements/compliance
