Purpose: The BI and financial reporting role must build in-depth understanding of the businesses, strategy &amp; priorities across many dimensions to provide analysis and insights, identify key Value drivers and highlight where the value gaps exist. It has a lot of opportunity to have an impact on the performance of the Finance business function. Accountability: - Ensure accurate, timely and insightful management information to the Finance/Business teams on the desired frequency. - Build reports &amp; Dashboard based on the specifications from the business partners - Ownership and resolution of reporting issues - including pro-active Month-end close validation checks to ensure reported financials and analysis are free from material errors - Provide deeply insightful analysis which incorporates external perspective - to support decision-making and drive the performance improvement agenda - Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders &amp; build understanding of underlying issues within the line of business. - Support continuous improvement initiatives - to improve data quality, content of reports/analysis to the business and drive projects to standardize reports and analysis without losing the agility and ability to deep-dive results - Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various finance &amp; business teams to ensure achievement of common objectives in the most efficient and effective manner. - Produce and distribute recurring reports in an efficient and reliable way - Enhance existing reports regularly based on users' feedback - Exchange experiences and support other reporting specialists worldwide - Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested - Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to data - Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required - Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required - Independent worker and analytical thinker with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems - Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership - Ability to translate the business reporting needs into an efficient and user-friendly solution (structured, ask questions until 100% clear, challenging) - Demand very high-quality standards with himself and others (data quality/accuracy, punctuality) - Ability to independently prioritize own tasks balancing operations, new development and enhancements Profile: - Graduation in Computer Application and MBA preferred - 3+ years of experience in reporting, preferably in a reporting factory or competence center. - Strong technical and communication skills, self-driven, open-minded Skill Prefered: - Expert in Excel/Access VBA programming - Experience/know-how of SAP R3/ByD, BW, SQL databases, VBA, front-end reporting tools, automation tods, distribution tools Non-negotiable criteria Strong technical skills in reporting tools and systems Continuous improvement mentality Strong team player with good communication skills
