ROLE &amp; REQUIREMENTS: - Be the voice of the customer within the marketing team and larger organization. - Translate technical details into benefits for the user that they understand and can tell their friends. - Develop the positioning of new features and products in partnership with PM, engineering, operations, design, user research and other cross functional stakeholders. - Advocate for our existing and prospective users, be informed about our competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert for your product area to help shape the product roadmap and strategy - Incorporate a research practice into everything you do within PMM from customer interviews to uncover early insights to running A/B tests to validate messaging - Develop robust strategy to drive Word of Mouth (WOM) from within the app to other platforms outside (In-Out). Make recommendations for targeted product development that will delight and surprise customers, which in turn create sharing loops externally. - Develop robust GTM strategies and positioning with the broader marketing team, PR team to bring new products and features to market. Design holistic, results-driven campaigns that span web, community, social, email, and other marketing channels. - Deploy effective marketing campaigns that drive growth and adoption for the products and features - Closely follow new technologies, consumer, social trends, competitive and third party products, making recommendations on how our products will leverage or fit into those emerging trends. - Own consistency in product messaging across all customer touch points of App &amp; Play -Store optimization, PR, customer support team and End to End ownership of in-app communication related to the feature - Deliver product briefings and presentations on key product messages, positioning, market insights and opportunities with peers, stakeholders and leadership SOUND LIKE YOU? - We're looking for someone dynamic and you'll need to have the below in generous quantities to succeed in this role. - 9+ years experience in product marketing or related roles in B2C businesses (eg. FMCG especially NPD roles, Product Marketing in B2C Consumer Tech) that require technical fluency and the ability to translate features into relevant consumer benefits. - A storyteller. You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience - A team player. Product Marketers collaborates across the Marketing team and with basically every team. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work - Data-oriented. You like working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful points of view for how to take our products to market - Ambitious. Product marketers must determine which teams need to work together to achieve this goal, often without any direction. - Prioritization Skills: Like most marketers, product marketers often are tasked with multiple projects and initiatives that they must navigate and prioritize according to the company's needs. Whether you- re tasked with managing a product launch or doing customer research, you must know when and where to focus your efforts and which of those efforts is most time-sensitive. - Ability to Collaborate with a Team : As a product marketer you'll be working with a wide range of individuals from across the company. That means that you'll rarely be asked to work on a problem by yourself and must enjoy team collaboration. Even if you're creating what seems like a simple pitch deck to outline product benefits, you can't do this without the input of others. You must collaborate with end users both inside and outside of your company, along with decision influencers and your boss to find the right solutions to fit specific needs. - Candidates with experience in B2C app-based Consumer Tech are preferred.
